If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction markets like Polymarket often reflect information and insights different from those captured in traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market aggregates the collective wisdom of traders. This can lead to differences in probabilities, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It’s common to see discrepancies, even significant ones, as prediction markets can sometimes be more accurate at forecasting event outcomes than traditional betting venues, especially when there's strong public interest.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores for the match. The price of a share reflects the probability that the corresponding score will be the final result. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective belief about the likelihood of each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price is determined by supply and demand; if more people buy shares in a particular score, the price goes up, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date predictions.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the CF Cruz Azul versus Club León FC match will determine the winning share(s) in this market. The resolution will be based on the score reported by official sources and widely accepted as the definitive result of the game. Any protests or appeals will not affect the resolution of this market, as it is based on the initially reported score.
Several factors could influence the price movement in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team lineups for either Cruz Azul or León would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also shift probabilities. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators and analysts, as well as any shifts in public sentiment, could all contribute to changes in trading activity and, consequently, the price of shares in this market.
