In the upcoming Liga MX game between CF América and CF Monterrey, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CF América vs. CF Monterrey match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, being peer-to-peer, aims to represent the true probabilities as assessed by traders. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust to incorporate new information and collective wisdom. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments, public sentiment, or even the influence of large bettors.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a specific exact score. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. Conversely, selling shares drives the price down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions are accurate. The market efficiently aggregates information from all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the América vs. Monterrey match, as reported by a widely recognized sports news source, will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the exact score achieved at the end of regulation time, excluding any potential extra time or penalty shootouts. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 11, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either América or Monterrey would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the match venue or referee assignments could also cause price fluctuations. Furthermore, large trades by influential market participants can create momentum and drive price movements, reflecting a change in perceived probabilities.
