Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the views of many individuals. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Analyzing these differences can be insightful, as prediction markets sometimes identify mispriced outcomes, though sportsbooks may offer more competitive pricing on popular outcomes. Keep in mind that both represent probabilities of the same underlying event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth, or the number of shares available at different price points, also provides insights into the strength of conviction behind each outcome. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Cesena FC versus US Catanzaro 1929 match will be used to determine the winning shares. Resolution will depend on official match results as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market’s pricing at the time of resolution. The market will close before this date to allow for accurate settlement.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match tactical announcements, might also cause shifts in the market. Furthermore, large-volume trades from informed participants could create momentum and influence prices. Public sentiment, reflected in social media or expert analysis, could also contribute to changes in this market, as traders react to evolving narratives surrounding the match.
