If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the wisdom of the crowd on Polymarket, aims to reflect the true probability of each exact score, minimizing such built-in biases. However, sportsbook odds can still be useful for comparison, as they represent the views of professional oddsmakers and a different set of information. Discrepancies between the two can sometimes highlight interesting opportunities for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome essentially represents the implied probability of that score occurring, as determined by the collective actions of all traders participating in the market. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official exact score of the Cercle Brugge vs. RSC Anderlecht match will determine the winning outcome in this market. The resolution will be based on the score reported by official sources following the completion of the game. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market’s pricing at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact expectations. Pre-match analysis from sports analysts, weather conditions on match day, and even early game events like a red card or penalty could all cause traders to reassess their predictions. Increased media attention or public discussion surrounding the match could also drive higher volume and more volatile price movements in this market.
