PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's resolution logic is different from Polymarket and Predict, as it resolves 'Yes' for either team winning, while the others resolve to the specific winning team.Hero tip: Be cautious about Kalshi's market. It effectively doubles your exposure to either team winning, as both outcomes resolve to 'Yes'. Consider hedging or avoiding this market if you have a strong directional opinion.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves to the specific winning team. If Central Connecticut State wins, it resolves to 'Central Connecticut State Blue Devils'. If Syracuse wins, it resolves to 'Syracuse Orange'.
  • Kalshi: Resolves to 'Yes' if either Syracuse or Central Connecticut State wins. This effectively creates a market on 'either team wins' rather than a specific team winning.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
