All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the 'wisdom of the crowd,' potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market’s odds are driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. Comparing the two can provide a more comprehensive view of the potential result, though it's important to remember each represents a different form of forecasting.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes, and the prices of these shares reflect the market’s collective belief about the probability of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the prices adjust, providing a dynamic assessment of the likely result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand – if many traders believe a specific score is likely, they’ll bid up the price of shares representing that outcome, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Celtic FC versus Kilmarnock FC match will be the determining factor. Resolution will be based on the official result published by the governing football authorities. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will not. The platform will verify the result against reliable sources to ensure accuracy and fairness.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Celtic or Kilmarnock would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements related to the match, such as a change in venue or kickoff time, could also lead to price movements. Monitoring these signals and assessing their potential impact on the game’s outcome is key to understanding how this market might evolve.
