Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If many informed bettors believe a sportsbook line is inaccurate, they can influence the price on Polymarket, potentially creating discrepancies. It's common to see prediction markets converge towards a more accurate probability as more information becomes available and trading volume increases, but initial differences are frequent.

This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 3, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Cádiz CF or CD Leganés would likely cause significant movement.
