Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade and express their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, they can buy 'yes' shares, driving up the price and potentially signaling a mispricing. It’s common to see prediction markets converge toward what many consider the 'true' probability as the event approaches, though discrepancies can still occur.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team officially scores the first goal in the CD Tudelano vs. Real Zaragoza match. The official match records will be used to determine the winner. Any disputes regarding the outcome will be handled according to Polymarket’s standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process. The outcome will be clearly indicated on the Polymarket market page following the match’s conclusion.
