Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 24, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations across Polymarket and Kalshi.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the Argentine Football Association (AFA) as recognized by the governing body, or consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
The match outcome is determined by the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only, excluding extra time and penalties.
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: CD Riestra wins, CA Independiente wins, or the match ends in a draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the Riestra win and Independiente win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the actual match outcome.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the Riestra win market resolves NO, the Independiente win market resolves NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official AFA statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by the AFA or, if unavailable within 2 hours, upon consensus of credible reporting sources.
