Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, reflecting their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of each outcome, though discrepancies can still arise due to differing information or risk assessments. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect probabilities, especially as event time approaches and more information becomes available, but comparing to sportsbook odds can still provide valuable context.
This market resolves around Oct 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the CD Moquegua vs. Cienciano match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the exact final score of the match, including any extra time or penalty shootouts if applicable. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market prices at resolution.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market.
