Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities might arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to note that liquidity and trading volume can influence prices in this market, potentially leading to differences even when underlying beliefs are similar.
