On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact scoreline. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability assigned to that outcome. Traders aim to profit by correctly predicting the outcome and buying shares at a lower price than they are ultimately worth upon resolution. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of the participants.
