All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each exact score. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher implied probability. Conversely, selling shares lowers the price. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the aggregate assessment of all participants, creating a dynamic and real-time forecast. This differs from fixed-odds betting, as the odds constantly adjust based on trading activity and new information.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official score of the CD Huachipato versus O'Higgins FC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. Any protests or appeals must be resolved for the outcome to be considered final. Traders should monitor official sources for confirmation of the match result and subsequent market settlement.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the probabilities in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either team would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team's playing style, could also move the market. Unexpected tactical announcements from either manager, or even shifts in public sentiment based on pre-match analysis, could all contribute to price fluctuations. Any significant developments leading up to kickoff have the potential to alter traders’ assessments of the likely final score.
