Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by trader sentiment. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, they can buy shares, driving up the price and potentially creating an arbitrage opportunity. It's common to see differences emerge, especially as new information becomes available and public opinion shifts before the event.
