Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe a particular exact score is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price in this market will adjust accordingly. This can result in prediction market odds being more accurate than traditional sportsbook lines, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
