Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift to reflect that collective insight. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of volume accumulates.
