In the upcoming Copa del Rey game between CD Anaitasuna and Deportivo Alavés, scheduled for October 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CD Anaitasuna vs. Deportivo Alavés match originally scheduled for October 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds due to varying levels of information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If there's a significant difference, it could indicate that the market perceives information differently than sportsbooks, or that one venue has sharper bettors. It's important to compare odds across sources to identify potential value, but remember that prediction markets are not always correlated with sportsbook lines.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment. The market's efficiency depends on the number of participants and the quality of information they possess. Currently, the most likely outcome, according to Polymarket, is CD Anaitasuna 3 - 5 Deportivo Alavés, with a chance of 50.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the CD Anaitasuna vs. Alavés match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing soccer league. The market will then pay out to the shares representing the correct exact score. It’s important to note that the resolution process relies on publicly available information to determine the definitive outcome of the match.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team lineups, changes in coaching staff, or even weather conditions could shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected performance in prior matches or significant tactical adjustments announced by either team could also lead to price movements. Furthermore, large volume trades from informed participants could signal new information entering the market and cause a rapid reassessment of the odds. Monitoring these signals is key to understanding potential shifts in this market.
