In the upcoming Copa del Rey game between CD Alcoyano and RCD Mallorca, scheduled for October 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CD Alcoyano vs. RCD Mallorca match originally scheduled for October 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of team strengths and potential game scenarios. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks, as traders continuously update their assessments.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and its implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform’s design encourages traders to express their informed opinions, leading to a dynamically adjusted probability distribution for the Alcoyano vs. Mallorca match. The current volume suggests strong interest in certain outcomes.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the CD Alcoyano vs. RCD Mallorca match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the exact final score of the match, including any extra time or penalty shootouts if applicable. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the resolved outcome at that time.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before Nov 5, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Alcoyano or Mallorca would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a preceding match, could also impact trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day, particularly if they favor one team's playing style, could be a catalyst for movement. Finally, any significant public announcements related to the teams or the match itself may influence trading activity.
