Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s prices are driven purely by supply and demand among traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. This can create opportunities for value betting, as discrepancies between the two may indicate mispricing. It’s important to compare both to inform your decisions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s assessment of its probability. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are influenced by news, team form, injuries, and overall market sentiment. The more volume traded, the more confident you can be in the price reflecting the true probability of each outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Cavalry FC vs. Vancouver FC match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning exact score. The resolution process is designed to be objective and transparent, ensuring that the market settles accurately based on the real-world event. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand when the market will be finalized.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Cavalry FC or Vancouver FC would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also lead to movement. Furthermore, large trades on Polymarket by influential traders could create short-term price swings, so monitoring the order book is advisable.
