Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their risk and ensure profit, while this market represents the collective belief of informed traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, it could indicate that the market perceives information not yet fully incorporated into sportsbook odds. However, as the event approaches, these odds tend to converge as more information becomes available and traders refine their predictions. It’s important to note that this market is driven by user predictions, not professional oddsmakers.
