The outcome depends solely on the performance of both teams in the final segment of regulation time, excluding any overtime periods.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team leads in goals scored during the third period of regulation play in the Carolina vs Philadelphia NHL game scheduled for October 3, 2026. If Philadelphia finishes the third period with more goals than Carolina, the Philadelphia market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Carolina finishes the third period with more goals than Philadelphia, the Carolina market resolves to Yes. If both teams are tied in goals scored by the end of the third period of regulation, the Tie market resolves to Yes. Overtime goals do not count toward any resolution. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result. If the game is canceled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price.
