In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Canada and Peru, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Canada vs. Peru match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when public sentiment strongly diverges from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. It’s common to see this market incorporate information and perspectives that sportsbooks may not immediately factor in, leading to potentially different probabilities for various outcomes.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that score occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a specific score, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market-making algorithm to ensure there’s always a bid and ask price available, allowing for continuous trading and price discovery. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the traders.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Canada vs. Peru match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which contracts pay out. Any potential delays in official score reporting could slightly postpone resolution, but the aim is to settle the market as quickly as possible following the conclusion of the event. The platform relies on publicly available, authoritative sources to verify the result.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or even weather forecasts could impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about tactical approaches or pre-match interviews from key players might also cause fluctuations. Furthermore, as the match draws closer, any shifts in public perception or analysis from sports commentators could drive increased volume and price movements. Major events occurring in other relevant matches could also indirectly affect this market.
