This event tracks various point spreads for the second half of a college football game, focusing on the margin of victory for either team during that specific period. The outcome depends solely on the points scored after halftime, including any overtime periods.
All markets resolve based solely on points scored during the second half (including overtime) of the designated college football game. Each market has a specific point threshold: if NC State wins the second half by more than the stated margin, corresponding 'NC State wins by over X points' markets resolve to Yes; if California achieves the required margin, the relevant 'California wins by over X points' markets resolve to Yes. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original time, markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. No markets consider first-half performance or overall game results.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the collective insight of prediction market participants. If you find a significant difference between the odds here and those offered by sportsbooks, it might signal an opportunity for value betting.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point spread will be determined by the official result of the second half of the California vs NC State game. The market will settle to 100 if NC St. wins by over 3.5 points, and 0 if California wins or loses by less than 3.5 points. All contracts will be settled based on this verified outcome, and payouts will be distributed accordingly.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the California or NC State teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team's playing style, could also impact the spread. Additionally, late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions could shift market sentiment. Public perception, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, can also contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
