Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the wisdom of the crowd on Polymarket, aims to reflect the true probability of the outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets dynamically adjust as more information and opinions are incorporated. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, potentially offering opportunities for informed traders.
