Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it might indicate that the crowd believes the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular fighter winning. Keep an eye on both to see where the perceived value lies.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event's likelihood. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for a share, and thus their expectation of the final result of the Cali boxing match.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result declared by the boxing commission overseeing the Cali boxing match. The fighter declared the winner by the official decision will determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
