Description

This set of markets tracks how many goals are scored in the first period of an NHL hockey game between Calgary and San Jose. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals, determining whether the scoring exceeds that threshold. The outcomes depend entirely on the real-time gameplay during the specified period.

Kalshi

These markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the first period of the Calgary vs San Jose NHL game scheduled for Nov 2, 2026. Each market has a specific numerical threshold (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals), and resolves to 'Yes' if the actual goals scored exceed that threshold. All markets share the same secondary rules: overtime in the third period is excluded from consideration, and if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants regardless of the specific threshold being wagered on.
