In the upcoming match between Cagliari Calcio and Frosinone Calcio, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Cagliari Calcio" if Cagliari Calcio are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Frosinone Calcio" if Frosinone Calcio are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, attracting traders who aim to profit from the difference. It’s common to see prediction market probabilities adjust more rapidly to new information than sportsbook odds, as they are continuously updated by a diverse group of participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s efficiency is driven by the collective intelligence of participants, and the prices dynamically adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment regarding which team will score first in the second half.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team—Cagliari or Frosinone—scores the first goal in the second half of the match. If neither team manages to score during the second half, the 'Neither team to score first' outcome will be considered the result. The resolution will be based on official match data and verified sources to ensure accuracy and fairness for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Cagliari or Frosinone would likely have a significant impact. Tactical changes announced by either team's manager, or even changes in weather conditions that could affect the style of play, could also shift probabilities. Live game events during the first half, such as red cards or early goals, would undoubtedly cause rapid adjustments to the market. Overall team form and recent performance are also continuously factored into trader assessments.
