All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, which can sometimes differ from sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and the perceived biases of the betting public, while this market allows anyone to express their view. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular outcome, they can take the opposite position in this market, potentially driving the odds in a different direction. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of information becomes available about team form and potential starting lineups.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The market’s depth – the number of shares available to buy and sell – also influences price stability. Higher volume generally leads to tighter spreads and more accurate price discovery.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Platense vs. Central Córdoba match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which shares payout. It’s important to note that any potential delays in official score reporting could also affect the resolution timeline. Traders should monitor official sources for the most up-to-date information regarding the match and its result to understand when this market will be settled.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Platense or Central Córdoba would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about starting lineups or pre-match team news are also likely to have an impact. Furthermore, large trades by influential market participants could create short-term price fluctuations, reflecting shifts in overall market perception.
