If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin regardless of the outcome. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of each exact score, without an inherent profit margin for the venue. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts, offering potential arbitrage opportunities for informed participants.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the CA Penarol Montevideo versus CA Progreso match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will be based on the exact final score as recorded by official match statistics, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the probabilities within this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either CA Penarol Montevideo or CA Progreso would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected events during the match itself, such as early red cards or penalties, would also immediately move the market as traders react to the unfolding situation.
