Frequently asked questions

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probability of each outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when there's strong public sentiment or information asymmetry. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines as new information emerges and traders adjust their positions based on their own analysis of the game.

This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by which team—CA Nacional Potosí or Club Bolívar—wins the second half of the match. The platform will rely on official match data to determine the winning team and settle the market accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result as it approaches the resolution date.

Several factors could influence this market before it resolves. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either CA Nacional Potosí or Club Bolívar could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions during the match, or even in-game events like red cards or penalties, could also significantly impact the odds. Furthermore, any updates from reliable sports analysts or shifts in public perception could cause movement in the market as traders react to new information.
