If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the insights of many individual traders. It’s common to observe discrepancies between the two, especially when there's significant public interest or disagreement about the likely outcome. These differences can arise from varying levels of information, biases, or simply differing interpretations of the available data. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive view of the event’s potential.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Trading volume and order book depth influence price discovery, and the market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment. This creates a fluid and responsive pricing system driven by the collective actions of participants.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
