Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting patterns and profit margins into their odds, while this market relies on individuals directly predicting the exact score. Historically, prediction markets have demonstrated accuracy comparable to or exceeding traditional polls and expert analyses. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially in events where public perception differs from informed analysis, offering a potentially different perspective on the likely outcome.

As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for a share in a specific outcome, effectively forecasting the likelihood of that result.
