In the upcoming Primera División (Uruguay) game between CA Boston River and Montevideo City Torque, scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CA Boston River vs. Montevideo City Torque match originally scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks, reflecting the ‘wisdom of the crowd’ versus the assessments of professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the probability of each exact score. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when public sentiment strongly diverges from expert opinion. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information and perspectives that sportsbooks may overlook, potentially offering a more accurate forecast of the final result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling shares lowers the price. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly reflects the market's collective assessment of the likelihood of that exact score occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the probabilities are constantly updated based on the latest information and trader sentiment. The current trading volume provides insight into the level of interest in different outcomes.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Boston River vs. Torque match – specifically, the exact scoreline – will be used to determine which shares pay out. Resolution relies on publicly available data sources to ensure an objective and transparent process. Any potential delays in official reporting could impact the resolution timeline, but the aim is to settle promptly once a definitive result is established.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff would likely have an impact. Weather conditions on match day could also play a role, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style over the other. Unexpected lineup announcements or tactical adjustments revealed before the game could also cause significant movement. Finally, general shifts in public sentiment, driven by expert analysis or social media discussion, could influence how traders price the various exact score outcomes.
