If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the diverse perspectives of informed traders. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, especially early on or for less-covered events. Comparing the two can reveal discrepancies and potentially identify profitable betting opportunities, though it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official score of the Dortmund vs. Bremen match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the Bundesliga authorities. Any potential protests or appeals will be considered only if they lead to a change in the officially recorded score. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or settle their losing positions based on the final, verified result.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 9, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Dortmund or Bremen would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected news related to team morale or internal conflicts could also move the market, as could any significant public statements from players or coaches regarding their expectations for the match.
