This group forecasts the outcome of the EFL Championship soccer match between Burnley and Portsmouth on October 31, 2026. Markets exist for Burnley winning, Portsmouth winning, or a draw, all determined after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
The event covers three possible outcomes of the Burnley vs Portsmouth EFL Championship soccer match scheduled for October 31, 2026: a win for Burnley, a win for Portsmouth, or a tie. Each outcome has a corresponding market that resolves to 'Yes' if that specific result occurs after the full 90 minutes plus any stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalty kicks. If the match ends in a tie after regulation time, the 'Tie' market resolves to 'Yes.' Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price following the platform's guidelines. The event explicitly excludes any affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Kalshi and Limitless, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the different incentives and information sources involved. Sportsbooks set odds to maximize profit, incorporating a margin for themselves, while prediction markets allow participants to directly express their beliefs. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when a large volume of traders participate. Furthermore, prediction markets benefit from continuous updating as new information becomes available, whereas sportsbook odds are typically adjusted less frequently. This market reflects real-time sentiment, potentially offering insights beyond traditional betting.
