The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like marketing promotions or biases, while this market relies on the collective predictions of informed traders. If a significant difference emerges, it could indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can arise due to differing methodologies and information available to each.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders deposit funds and buy or sell contracts representing their belief in the likelihood of each exact score. As more traders participate, the price of each contract adjusts to reflect the collective expectation. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a contract directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring, and the market aims to converge towards the true probability as the event approaches. The most popular outcome currently has a chance percentage of 50.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Burgos CF vs. Celta Fortuna match, as officially recorded by sporting authorities, will determine the winning contract. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and fairness. Traders holding the contract corresponding to the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout, while those holding losing contracts will forfeit their stake.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries, changes in team formations, or even weather conditions could all impact traders’ perceptions of the likely outcome. Major announcements about team strategy or coaching changes could also cause significant movement. Furthermore, large trades by influential market participants could temporarily alter the price, although the market generally self-corrects as more information becomes available and more traders participate.
