Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that traders have information or beliefs not fully priced into the sportsbook lines. This difference might stem from specialized knowledge, access to unique data, or simply a different assessment of the competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb. Conversely, if traders become less confident, the price will fall. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence.

This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Buianov vs. Orbu match as reported by the relevant sporting authority. The platform will verify the result against established sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be paid out according to the final market prices at the time of resolution.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in match conditions, or updates on team strategies could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player form or tactical approaches could also lead to significant price movements. Public opinion and analysis from sports commentators might also play a role, especially if they offer compelling arguments for one competitor over the other. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential shifts in this market.
