Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the third period of an NHL hockey game between Buffalo and Toronto. Each market has a different threshold for the total goals needed to settle the outcome. The markets only consider goals scored during regulation time of the third period, excluding any overtime play.

Kalshi

All three markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the third period of regulation play only—overtime goals are excluded. Each market has a specific numerical threshold: over 0.5 goals, over 1.5 goals, and over 2.5 goals. If the collective goals exceed the threshold, the market resolves as 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves as 'No'. If the originally scheduled game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its scheduled time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result of that game. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, reflecting an equitable settlement under extraordinary circumstances.
