Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. If many people believe Buffalo is likely to win the first half, the price of a 'Buffalo wins' share will rise, potentially exceeding the implied probability from sportsbook odds. Conversely, if the crowd favors Toledo, the price will shift accordingly, offering a different perspective than conventional betting.
