This market focuses on predicting whether either team will win by a margin of two or more goals specifically during the second period of an NHL game. It reflects the potential for scoring swings within a confined timeframe, highlighting the dynamic nature of hockey. Outcomes are determined solely by the second-period performance, ignoring overall game results or other periods.
The market resolves based on whether Buffalo or San Jose wins the second period of their NHL game by more than 1.5 goals (i.e., by at least two goals). If either team achieves this margin, the respective market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains active and resolves based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime in the third period does not affect these outcomes, as only the second period is considered.
