Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the first period of an NHL hockey game between Buffalo and San Jose. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals, determining whether the combined score exceeds that threshold. The outcomes depend entirely on the official game result, with specific rules for postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams in the first period of the Buffalo vs San Jose NHL game scheduled for October 27, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 goals), and resolves to 'Yes' if the combined score exceeds its respective threshold. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve according to the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration for these markets.
