PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict define identical resolution criteria based on second-half goals, including stoppage time, and a consistent fallback resolution process.Primary resolution logic: Official match statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with secondary sources of Flashscore, Sofascore, and credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • If the game is canceled entirely, the market resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. If no data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: Resolution occurs after the second half of regular play plus stoppage time has concluded and the result can be definitively determined by the primary or secondary resolution sources. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
