This prediction market asks for the exact final score of a Premier League match between Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace. Resolution depends on the official match result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with a fallback to reputable sports data providers if official sources are delayed. Any score not explicitly listed resolves to 'Any Other Score'.
In the upcoming Premier League game between Brighton & Hove Albion FC and Crystal Palace FC, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Brighton & Hove Albion FC vs. Crystal Palace FC match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are determined. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and aim to profit from balancing action on both sides. In contrast, this market’s odds are driven by the collective opinions of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. This can lead to prediction markets being more efficient at incorporating diverse information and reflecting the true probabilities of events. While not always the case, prediction markets frequently outperform sportsbooks in accuracy.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict on this market can arise due to several factors. These platforms have different user bases, trading volumes, and risk appetites, all of which influence pricing. Additionally, the specific mechanisms for price discovery – how traders set the odds – may vary between the two venues. Market participants on Polymarket may have access to different information or interpret available data differently than those on Predict, leading to differing probabilities assigned to potential outcomes. These factors contribute to the dynamic pricing observed in prediction markets.
