In the upcoming Premier League game between Brighton & Hove Albion FC and Brentford FC, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Brighton & Hove Albion FC vs. Brentford FC match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while prediction markets allow anyone to express their belief, leading to a more organic price discovery process. This can result in odds discrepancies, as prediction markets may incorporate information not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. It's possible to find value by comparing the probabilities implied by both sources.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict in this market can occur due to several factors. Differences in user base, trading incentives, and market-making activity all contribute to varied pricing. Polymarket may attract a different demographic of traders with unique insights or risk appetites compared to Predict. Furthermore, the 24-hour volume, currently at $5,062, can fluctuate independently on each platform, influencing price discovery. These factors combined create the potential for differing probabilities on the same underlying event, even though both platforms are tracking the same Brighton vs. Brentford score market.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Brighton or Brentford would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trader sentiment.
