If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by professional oddsmakers, while this market is driven by individuals making their own predictions and wagering accordingly. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Analyzing these differences can reveal insights into public sentiment and potential value opportunities, though it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that score occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective belief of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s depth, indicated by the volume of shares traded, also influences price stability and the ease of entering or exiting a position. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing expectations.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Brighton and Hove Albion WFC versus Crystal Palace match will be used to determine the winning share(s) in this market. Resolution will occur after the official match results are published and independently verified. Traders should ensure their accounts are in good standing to receive payouts following the resolution of this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Brighton or Crystal Palace would likely cause shifts in the odds. Team form, recent match results, and tactical changes announced by the managers could also play a significant role. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match analysis from football experts, could prompt traders to reassess their predictions and adjust their positions, leading to price movements in this market.
