In the upcoming Women's Super League game between Brighton and Hove Albion WFC and Charlton Athletic, scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Brighton and Hove Albion WFC vs. Charlton Athletic match originally scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information, such as team news or injuries, than sportsbooks, as the price adjusts based on continuous trading activity. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive view.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Brighton and Hove Albion WFC versus Charlton Athletic match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the final score as reported by official sources for the match. Any protests or appeals that do not change the official result will not affect the market’s resolution. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand when the market will be settled.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Brighton and Hove Albion WFC or Charlton Athletic would likely cause price shifts. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also affect trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially favoring one team's style of play over the other. Finally, any significant tactical announcements from either manager could lead to adjustments in the perceived probabilities of different exact scores.
