Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds over time. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the aggregated beliefs of many individual traders. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those seen here, it might indicate disagreement about the likelihood of both Brighton and Crystal Palace scoring. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can arise due to differing information or analytical approaches.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Brighton and Crystal Palace will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand. When more traders believe both teams will score, the price increases, and vice versa. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price reflects the probability assigned to the event by the collective intelligence of the traders on Limitless, offering a dynamic and real-time assessment of the likelihood of a BTTS outcome in this match.

This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Brighton and Crystal Palace score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams found the back of the net. The final result will be based on the official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants in this market. The market will close and settle shortly after the final whistle.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Brighton or Crystal Palace would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements closer to kickoff could also cause movement, as could any significant news related to team morale or motivation. The closer we get to Oct 19, 2026, the more sensitive this market will be to any new information that emerges.
