In the upcoming FA Cup game between Brentwood Town FC and Dagenham & Redbridge FC, scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Brentwood Town FC vs. Dagenham & Redbridge FC match originally scheduled for October 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate forecast of the event outcome than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to reveal their true beliefs, while sportsbooks may factor in profit margins and biases. While sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market allows a broader range of participants to contribute to the price discovery process. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing levels of information and varying risk appetites among traders and bettors. It’s important to consider both sources when forming your own assessment.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Brentwood Town vs. Dagenham match, specifically the exact score, will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a reputable sports news source. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is officially verified and the market is settled on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially impacting the style of play and the final score. Furthermore, significant public sentiment shifts, perhaps driven by expert analysis or media coverage, could lead to changes in trading activity and, consequently, the market prices. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential movements in this market.
