Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but can be influenced by factors like public betting patterns and risk management. This market, driven by user predictions, can sometimes diverge from sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. Comparing the two can highlight discrepancies and potentially identify value in either market, but it's important to remember they represent different approaches to forecasting the outcome of the match.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of Brentford winning by two or more goals. As more traders buy 'yes' contracts, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived chance of that outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market-making system to ensure there's always a bid and ask price available, allowing traders to enter and exit positions at any time.
