In the upcoming Premier League game between Brentford FC and Nottingham Forest FC, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Brentford FC vs. Nottingham Forest FC match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities as new information emerges. While sportsbooks may adjust their lines closer to the event, prediction markets can sometimes offer a more refined view of the likely outcome, especially as the event approaches and more traders participate.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. When more people buy contracts for a specific score, the price increases, indicating higher confidence in that outcome. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the collective intelligence of the traders participating in this market.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Brentford FC versus Nottingham Forest FC match will be used to determine the winning contract. The official result, as reported by a trusted sports data source, will be the basis for settlement. Traders holding the contract corresponding to the correct final score will receive a payout based on the market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Brentford FC or Nottingham Forest FC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected news regarding team morale or internal conflicts could also move this market, as could significant betting activity from informed traders who may have access to non-public information.
